49th Congressional District.
Matt went into business by opening a new auto dealership, Infiniti of Mission Viejo. He then built two additional dealerships from scratch: Audi of Mission Viejo and Volvo Cars Mission Viejo. The three businesses created over 200 good-paying local jobs.
His business acumen, leadership skills & community involvement earned Matt invitations to serve as Chairman of the Mission Hospital Foundation Board, a member of the Saddleback College Foundation Board, and Chair of the Orange County Auto Dealers Association. Matt and his wife, Margo have lived in the 49th District community of Ladera Ranch for 23 years with their four daughters and proudly call Southern California home.
As a father, a businessman and a community volunteer, Matt Gunderson sees Joe Biden’s inflation crisis driving our cost-of-living through the roof, increasingly high taxes, crime rising in our neighborhoods and a border crisis that is feeding a fentanyl epidemic across this country.
Matt Gunderson knows he can no longer sit back and watch the American Dream evaporate for younger generations while government takes more control away from parents and our local communities.
